Installed, a desktop MetaTrader build makes the Mac a fixed workstation: layouts, templates and indicator settings are stored locally and come back after a restart. That suits a machine which stays at one desk through the midday London hours and into the late-afternoon New York open, with local time at UTC+4.
The browser route suits everything else. It opens from the Personal Area in Safari or Chrome, needs no administrator rights, and leaves no files on the machine, which is worth knowing on a shared or work-owned Mac where installing software is not a decision you get to make.
Language is handled the same way in both. A macOS system set to Arabic does not decide how the trading screens read, because that choice sits inside the platform. Switching between the installed terminal and a browser session therefore changes nothing except the window the account is watched from.
